Summer Camping at My Spot at Find A Way Farm
Summer has arrived in the hills of Southeast Ohio, and we'd like to share a few tips to help make your stay at "My Spot" at Find A Way Farm as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The first recommendation is simple: bring plenty of drinking water and stay hydrated. Summer temperatures can climb quickly, especially when exploring the open pastures. One of the advantages of our campsite is access to the farm pond, where you're welcome to cool off with a swim during the day or evening. A tarp or shade canopy is another item worth bringing. While the campsite is shaded by mature trees and is often noticeably cooler than the surrounding pastures, a tarp provides additional protection from the sun and those occasional summer rain showers. Be sure to pack insect repellent, sunscreen, and a flashlight or headlamp with extra batteries.
