Welcome Camper

Welcome to My Spot Campsite at Find A Way Farm!

We are Beth and Brian Duffy, and we are so glad you’ve chosen to stay with us. Our farm is a working sheep operation, and we offer this exclusive, secluded spot specifically for tent and hammock campers seeking a quiet getaway. Please keep in mind that we are a private farm, not a commercial campground with 24-hour service, so coming prepared is key to a great stay.

Before You Arrive

To make your visit even more comfortable, we offer several "extras" that can be ready for you upon arrival, including firewood, trash disposal, battery packs for our twinkle light rentals, and a gear-shuttle service from the parking area to the campsite (approximately a ¼ mile hike). Pricing and ordering can be made through our Hipcamp listing or message us directly to pay cash on-site. You can expect the standard outdoor pests. For your comfort, we recommend packing a hat for both sun and swatting, as well as a tick prevention/removal kit.

Finding Us and Checking In

Cell signals are notoriously tricky in Meigs County, so please take a screenshot or print out our directions before you leave home! (Our Directions) We have plenty of reviews from campers wishing they had! Check-in is between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. However, it is necessary that you provide your estimated arrival time as early as possible for our own planning and to ensure that we are present to welcome you when you arrive. If you’re running late, a quick message goes a long way! When you’ve made it to our farm, you do not need to drive up to the house.  Simply pull into the bottom part of the driveway just off the road and toot your horn to let us know you’re here. You can expect introductions, a quick orientation of the property and directions to the campsite parking area.

During Your Stay

Your campsite includes a table, a cooking grate over the firepit, and a nearby outhouse stocked with trash bags, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, a rake, and a broom. You’ll need to bring your own chairs. While you explore, feel free to hike our system of interconnected maintained trails (boundaries are marked with fluorescent tape) or take a half-mile walk to the pond for catch-and-release fishing and swimming (please use the dock ladder). Looking to explore? We’ve put together a list of our favorite local sights and amenities just a short drive from the farm.

You’ll likely see our friendly working dogs—feel free to pet them if they approach you, though they generally stay away from the campsite. At night, don't be surprised to hear coyotes howling in the distance and our dogs responding to warn these potential intruders away. You are welcome to take photos of our sheep, chickens and dogs, but please keep voices soft and movements slow to keep them stress-free, and always be mindful that our fences are electrified. For your campfire, you may collect any dead wood found on the ground, but please do not cut live trees nor shave any of its bark.  Non-biodegradable products such as plastics, cigarette butts, aluminum, and body wipes are prohibited from the firepit and composting toilet.

Departing

Checkout is by 12:00 p.m. We ask that you leave the site in the same condition you found it and take your rubbish with you unless you’ve added this extra service. When you leave the parking area, please exit head-first rather than backing out onto the road. There’s no need to stop by the house, but we appreciate a quick message and/or a quick horn toot as you pass by! We’ll be sure to leave a review for you after we check the site! If you enjoyed your stay, we’d love it if you could leave one for us, too.

Thank you for choosing Find A Way Farm. We look forward to hosting you!
